At Learning Beyond the Spectrum our commitment to the health and safety of our families is more important today than ever. Due to the ever-changing guidance and challenges of the global pandemic, we wanted to share how we are working to keep our families and staff safe, while continuing to provide medically necessary treatment.

Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy is considered a medically necessary treatment for autism and is permitted to operate in-person at this time. We are committed to keeping our staff and families safe and currently offer Telehealth visits as appropriate and as funding will allow. In addition to Telehealth we continue to offer in-person services in patients homes and in our clinic.

Health and Safety

Given the nature of what we do, taking precautions when we’re feeling under the weather has always been a key aspect of our health and safety policies. COVID-19 has reminded us that adhering to these protocols is more important now than ever.

We ask that our staff stay home if they are feeling unwell or a member of their household is feeling unwell, and ask for the same consideration from our families. We have implemented safety measures including frequent health monitoring, hand washing protocols, frequent sanitization of high-use surfaces, and mask wearing as needed for staff.

We continue to monitor all federal, state, and health-related COVID-19 updates, and we will continue to provide updates as necessary.
